Push The Reset Button

Bad day? Blow your calories? No problem. You can push the reset button anytime. If I've gone off track, whether it's for a month or a meal, I literally stop, take a moment to breathe deeply, and imagine myself pushing a giant RESET button. The image lets me release what I've done and move forward.

Don't beat yourself up! Learn from your mistakes, but don't dwell on them. Reset and move ahead.

  • I think this is a great idea!

Many of us have a perfectionistic streak and indulge in "all or nothing" thinking. This is self - defeating when it stops us or becomes an excuse for quitting.

This idea allows for the ups and downs of real life.

    Good going! - by ANNE-ELIZ

  • Mental imaging is very powerful.
Not only can you visualize the reset button, you can also "see" your future self walk up to you - what would (s)he say to the present you?
That you can do this, it will be worth the effort, and that there is new freedom in not carrying that excess fat anymore. emoticon - by DRB13_1
