Pre Made Meals

I like to pre make batch food and put them in to containers.. some for now and some for later. This way when my family is eating something I cant, or I need a quick meal rather than grabbing something high in fat and callories. I grab one of my pre-made portioned meals!

    I do this all the time. Ok, most of the time. I do a lot of batch cooking and freezing, and making several meals for the week. I also try very hard not to go hours and hours and hours without eating, but sometimes that just isn't possible. I can resist the urge to just pick something up on the way home knowing that I've got something tasty and trackable at home.

    I've been doing a lot more of this since I started taking bento box lunches to work. My bento stash comes in handy for weekend meals when I'm busy enjoying time with my family. The batches made ahead make it quick and easy to pack a pleasing and tasty bento any day of the week. Great tip! emoticon emoticon

    I do this but I also make DH meals in advance for the days when I don't want to or feel like cooking for either of us.
