I am a peanut butter lover could eat it all the time :) Well I recently found PB2 which is a pressed peanut butter. It basically removes all of the oil leaving you with a powdered peanut butter that you add to dishes or favorite drink!!! Way less calories and still get the peanut butter flavor :) Their website also has lots of great recipes. PB2 only has 45 calories so this cuts about 150 calories compared to regular peanut butter

If you or your children have nut allergies and cannot use peanut butter or other nut butters, give SunButter a try. Unlike Soy butter (yuck), it tastes just like peanut butter. It is made from sunflower seeds I use it in recipes that call for peanut butter, so that my allergic son can safely enjoy them. I also spread it on toast or enjoy it any other way you would normally enjoy peanut butter.
After hearing some many reports of other brands of powdered peanut "butter", when I saw reports of this product available in stores at a reasonable price, I gave it a try. EXCELLENT!!! A new pantry staple. Because it contains oly peanuts, you will probably want to add a pinch of salt and or sweetener to taste to achieve the same taste as peanut butter. Mixed to peanut butter consistency, 1Tblsp has about 22 cals instead of 100 cal for REDUCED fat peanut butter.
Also great for adding flavor to sauces, used in baking, adding to oatmeal or smoothies or thickening agent. Great source of protein!!!
