Need a cold treat on a hot day? Blend 1 cup of unsweetened chocolate almond milk, 1 small frozen banana, and a handful or so of frozen strawberries in your blender until the fruit is no longer chunks. It's a delicious frozen drink, like a neopolitan shake, with only 150-200 calories. It's a great way to cool you down without indulging in ice cream! Bonus! Yum yum!

If you really want to curb your sweet tooth this is a great way and you get a veggie serving to boot with no salt or butter. Bake a sweet potato or yam for 1 hour. Cool & then refrigerate until cold--I usually don't eat the peeling when cold. Slice and enjoy this sweet and satisfying treat.
I like milk, but sometimes I just feel burnt out on it...and coffee with creamer and sugar just add to many calories and fat, but sugar free coffee syrups with a mixture of half coffee and half milk make a great sweet treat - hot OR cold. Helps, cut back on the caffiene, I use skim so it is non-fat protein and good calcium and the sugar free syrups turn the whole thing into a nice sweet treat!
