I find it easier to get in my 8 cups of water if I drink a glass first thing in the morning, when I wake up. I keep a pint glass in my bathroom, and fill it up and down it. My mouth is so dry in the morning, it motivates me to drink the whole 16 oz glass....thats 2 cups of water right off the bat.
I brought a set of ice tea glasses 24 oz each ( approx 3 cups) using a straw I drink a glass first thing in the morning while making coffee and 1 glass before each meal. without even really trying I get in at least 12 cups of water daily. These are my water glasses and only I use them
There were four glasses in the set, I only use these glasses for water, at the end of the day there should be 4 glasses in the dishwasher or sink I use a straw as I can down it quicker, in addition I read chilled water burns more calories so I keep a jug in the fridge
every night before i go to bed i fill a glass of water and put it by my bed. in the morning it's the first thing i see and i take it with me as i start my day. i get in my first 2 glasses of water easily, and i actually have come to enjoy drinking water first thing in the morning. it also makes it easier to drink it the rest of the day.
