When I cook, I weigh the entire result in grams. I then divide by the number of servings. I enter that into SP as a new food. Say a serving is 100 gr. If I cut a slice & it is 80 or 125 grams, I change grams when I enter a food for that day, & it will recalculate nutrients accordingly.
I made ground turkey chili, 16 1-cup serving, 250 grams each. I can eat 273 grams, or maybe only 207. When slicing quickbread, it is impossible to cut 12 or 16 even slices, so my slice might be more or less than a "serving" but by using grams, I weigh my slice & enter grams in food eaten that day.
