When eating celery, don't throw away the celery leaves, eat them. Use them in soups, salads, etc. Also, cut off the tops of the celery stalks ( with leaves) and boil in water. Drink as a tea or in a glass of water when cooled. Eat the cooked celery, the leaves aid digestion and adds to the number of cups of water you drink in a day. The shorter stalks will fit in the salad drawer much better too.
