I am keeping the follwing four A's in mind: Avoid, Alter, Accept and Adapt. Whenever I feel my head is ready to pop from stress i'm going to look at the root cause and determine which one of the 4 A's can be applied.
Developed a Mantra: Breathe, focus, I can do this! Smooth deep breathing, strong pretty legs ~ works when i'm running!
I have lived most of my life at a high level of stress. Recently I just said enough is enough. My best tip is that every single morning when I wake up I make a conscious decision to have a positive outlook...regardless...for the day. It sounds so simplistic and maybe it is, but it has worked for me. Just that 5 minutes alone in the morning puts me on the right stress-free track for the day.
