Sometimes the scale or the mirror don't cooperate with our preconceived expectations of where our hard work with exercise and food intake should have us - for any given time period. ( some call these plateaus) When this happens to me I focus on making sure I am giving my body what it needs..8 hours rest, 8 glasses water daily. regular exercise, and plenty of fruits and veggies. I keep in mind that weightloss is a symptom of healthy living and I am NOT on a diet!
All you need is the right frame of mind and persistence. Remember Always! You are trying to be healthy and any step no matter how small contributes to this. This is a lifestyle and need to be something you can LIVE WITH for the rest of your life.
I treat my body and my mind as team mates. My mind makes the decisions and my body carries them out. At the end of the day, if I have made bad decisions (not exercising, eating poorly, etc) I mentally apologize to my body for not taking care of it properly and not giving it what it needs. If I have made healthy decisions, I praise myself for being strong. Sounds strange, but it keeps me accountable for my actions.
