I enjoy talking on the phone especially because now that I am out of college a lot of my friends live far away. When my friends and I chat we can talk for an hour or even longer. Instead of chatting to them while laying on my bed, whenever someone calls for a talk I take my phone with me and go for a walk. I tend to walk at a faster pace when I'm talking too, yet I barely remember I'm exercising because I'm so interested in the conversation!

Whenever someone calls me on the phone, instead of sitting and talking, I walk around my apartment while I'm talking. This morning, someone kept me forty-five minutes on the phone 128 and at the end of the conversation, I looked at my pedometer and it marked over 2000 steps. Not fast ones of course, but it does beat sitting in my couch! 334
Several Days a month I have to travel 2hours away for my Dr's appointment. ( I live in a small area without good Dr's) I always leave early for my appointments. I stop half way to talk a walking break 5-10 minutes. Once I am at the Dr's office I take a good 10-20 minute walk in the area.
I sometimes have more than one appt. so I repeat the walking as time allows. I will also do shopping while I am in town. This gets me execsizing when I cannot go to the Y.
