Instead of making salad - I just buy the prepared ones. Just grab my salad greens and toss them into a bowl, no washing, chopping or extra dirty dishes. Saves time and keeps me on track!492
I love a big bowl of salad greens, a can of tuna, a sprinkle of cheese and a big dollop of salsa. Filling, lots of protein and barely any carbs and I get that healthy fix of fish into my diet.
I figured out a trick a few years ago that makes salad dressing go much further. Put your bagged salad (or dried torn lettuce) in a ziploc bag, add dressing, seal and shake. The dressing ends up covering every part of the lettuce. Less is more!
