I have just started with Sparkpeople and I have found it quite interesting and informative. My problem with the 3 meals and 2 snacks a day is that I find it hard to fit all that eating into one day. I am currently unemployed and attending school. I try to keep up with the plan, but I forget and then I end up so hungry I find my self eating unhealthy. I have been trying to get my sugar levels down but it is hard. Any ideas to help me out?

I've recently added 2 snacks per day and this has helped me reduce my portion size at meals by 40 - 50% - overall I am now eating less and have more energy...no more post meal slump :)

Eat a healthy meal always first, then if craving a sweet - have just one each day before 6 pm. Decrease eating sweets over time - every two days, every three days, and so on.
Drinking 8 Glasses of Water a Day--Half Morning, Half Night
Drinking 8 glasses of water a day not only keeps me hydrated but makes me feel less full throughout the day. If I drink two-three glasses before I leave for work, one with each meal, and then two-three more at night when I am in bed reading, etc...I meet my quota each day and feel great!
