Granola and energy bars usually have suga r& additives. Your better off eating 20 almonds. You be surprised to see how fast you'll lose minus the bars, just stay hydrated and you'll see more energy.
Eggs and blueberries, strawberries and avocados are energy boosters too.

i got a low carb granola off the internet...just google "low carb granola" based on flax meal & unsweetened coconut with different nuts. its really good.

This last 2 days I've been way over my calorie limits. I watched my portions but still went overboard. It was probably the sugars in my snacks. I' ll try almonds these next few days. I need more protein anyway.

So true! So many of the fancy bars like Luna or Lara are so high in calories, I can't use them in my diet as a snack.

When craving a good ol' fashioned candy bar I reach for one of two things: a granola bar [I especially love Sweet & Salty Almond or Chocolate Chip], OR I grab an ounce of Flipz [Chocolate Covered Pretzels].
Compared to candy bars like Nestly Crunch or Butter Finger or Snickers, these are WAAAAAY better options and they hit the spot!

When I go to the Theater I pop my favorite buttery popcorn at home and grab a snack pack of chocolate covered hard pretzels and a bottle of Pepsi Max and stash them in my purse. I feel like I'm getting all my favoite Theater "fixes" but with not nearly the calories, fat, expense OR GUILT w/the other
