When I started to be serious about exercise, I bought an iPod to have music to stay on pace. The vendor had an engraving option so I chose the message: "It's time to start thinking about yourself." Now, my workout time is my "me" time. It's how I chill mentally and de-stress by focusing on a physical activity that is good for ME. When daily demands start getting cumbersome and my workout routine starts slipping, I have the engraved message as a reminder that it's okay to think about me first.
