Each day I make time to sit for at least 20 minutes in either silence or with soft music, clear my mind and listen to the silence. After that period of time I am relaxed and ready to take on whatever comes next. Oh yes, and I feel better physically as well.

Guilty pleasures don't have to cost you calories! I'm in Iraq, work out alone in my quarters and use Pandora.com which allows me to "create" my own radio station that streams through my laptop. My go-to workout station at age 39? "Britney Spears Radio" Turns out that randomly selected songs from various pop princesses are super-workout friendly and oddly empowering. No one but me (and now YOU!) has any idea of my secret indulgence...shhhh!334
PS - I also destress by singing along to "Barry Manilow Radio" and relax to "Josh Grobin Radio"...
