I work in a hospital from 7a-7p and anyone that has ever worked in an ER knows how awful the staff tends to eat. There are always treats and lots of take out food. To combat the sugar cravings I brought in my own personal jar of natural peanut butter and I bum a couple of packages of broken hospital graham crackers. It's plenty sweet for me and it takes care of the cravings. I actually feel like I've been cheating.........but I haven't :)

My new favorite snack. Puree 2 cups honey roasted peanuts (or almonds) with a banana. Makes a super healthy hummus dip. Dip with celery or carrots.
I like peanut butter, but I do not care for how thick it is. I was wondering if I could add something to thin it out some to make it better for dipping carrots in. So I just tried a banana pureed in with some fresh peanuts and WoW. Really nutricious or (nut - ricious) and filling.
My new favorite snack has become an 80 calorie yogurt with 1 TBS of grape nuts added. I fine it is best in the red or blue yogurts. (instead of lemon, lime etc.) The grape nuts have 33 calories, but it's much more satisfying than just yogurt.
