Aim to eat every four hours, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. That way your body learns that food is in good supply and stops it from going into famine mode where it stores ever bite as fat as it doesn't know when the next meal will be.

MORE INFORMATION:
Another useful part of this is to make sure you leave at least 3 hours from your lasteal and bedtime. This means your body can go into fat burning mode earlier in your sleep cycle and you can burn more off while you sleep.
