I keep wonderful music on an ipod, and when i start to feel depressed I play upbeat music. When I am feeling too hyper, I play soothing music. I find that I can change my mood by listening to one or two songs.

Walking is easier if you have music with a good beat to it. I listen to songs where each beat is a step. I especially like "Roll it Up" by The Crystal Method to get me started. (No lyrics, just instrumental.)
