I moved to OZ over a year ago now and was stunned by the expensive grocery at Woolys and Coles... After some times I finally convinced my partner to try Aldi (as I knew it already from Austria)... and wow did we started saving! Yes they don't have everything but what they have is cheap! Also have a look for weekly specials such as gardening things, electronics, gifts and home ware!

If you are lucky enough to have an Aldi supermarket near you, why shop at a bigger named supermarket? The items at Aldi are the same if not better quality as "Kraft,Post,ect" the only difference is the packaging it comes in. I find myself wondering other stores for hours b/c of sticker shock. 435 Just make sure you bring your own shopping bags and a quarter for a cart (saves you money)
