I'm not a big fan of exercise, I typically don't get that "runner's high" until after I've cooled down. So for me getting motivated to get out and walk or run is very difficult. I've found that when I'm starting out if I pretend that I enjoy it or fake liking it I'm more motivated to get going. I do this long enough and eventually I start looking forward to my exercising. 306
Whatever you need to do, whether it would be eating less, exercising more, getting back on track or getting motivated praying works! God is always there when you are weak. He is your support even when no one else is around, you can't get on the computer, you have no time to call a friend, etc.
If I'm having a hard time getting motivated or if I find myself inclined to stop exercising a couple minutes into my workout, I chant my mantra (quietly to myself). I have two I like to use: "Fit not fat" and "6 not 16" (in reference to what size I am and where I want to be). It hasn't failed to keep me going yet!
