Measure out your snacks and put them in the little snack-size bags that are available. One serving of animal crackers, usually about 16, fit perfectly. Or a cup of air-popped corn. A serving of Goldfish!

You can also fit a serving of nuts into a plastic Easter egg!

However you do it, and whatever your dry snack, you will be prepared to grab one and go.

This is a great idea! I've done it in the past and it worked. When I'm on the road or somewhere, between meals, all it takes is a handful of dried unsalted nuts and raisins to keep from feeling hungry - or starving. This way I won't overeat, or just grab anything I see, when I get home. Thanks for reminding me! emoticon - by MOTIVE8ED

  • great idea ... I also put grapes in single serve bags and then put a bunch of filled bags in the freezer bags so I can safely freeze them. Good stuff ! love the idea of animal crackers ... will try that !
