Sometimes when I am stressed out, all the breathing techniques and exercise won't work. So I turn on the tea kettle to boil some water and have a relaxing cup of Tension Tamer tea. It has kava kava in it and it always works for me.

If I've used up all my day's calories but still have the munchies at night, I make a cup of hot herbal tea, sweetened with stevia. It is sweet and comforting, occupies the mouth and hands til the urge to munch has passed, and even fills the belly for a *little* while.
Sometimes I add a dash of skim milk to make it feel more like a treat. Note: Make sure you use DECAF tea, and maybe even something like a "tension tamer", "sleepytime" or "calming" tea.
Sometimes due to lack of Sleep or because of overwork Eyes tend to look swollen and puffy----mostly in the Summers. The best way to combat this is to soak two swabs of Cottonwool in a bowlful of cold Water to which a few drops of Rose Water have been added.Squeeze out the cold Water from these Cottonwool Swabs and place them over your eyes. This way you can cool, soothe and refresh your Eyes very effectively. This process should be repeated every 5 minutes for a period of 15 minutes in total.
This is a good way to relax and unwind and helps to release the tension in both Mind and Body as well.
