I cook a whole package of pasta and after removing the water, I put individual size servings in a ziplog bag. I add about 1 tablespoon of water each (to prevent dryness) and put them in the refrigerator. It stays fresh for about 3 days, and it freezes perfectly for about 2 weeks.

More Information:

When I'm in the mood for pasta, or have not time to cook, I just grab a bag, run under hot water, steam some veggies, season and VOILA!!!

    This is a great idea! Thank you. I will try this out. I've actually been trying to cook a smaller amount so I didn't have any leftovers because most of the time the container gets shoved to the back of the frig and is there until it has grown something on it! Thankyou. emoticon - by RENEWAL150
