Trick Yourself Into Exercising When You Don'T Feel Like It

Set your goal to just work out for at least 10 minutes - and do it even when you don't feel like it. It's only 10 minutes, right?!? It's not going to kill you!

For me - when exercising I get energized. If I trick myself (even consciously) into JUST getting started - that 10 minutes can easily stretch to an hour or more. On those days that I just can't get with it - at least I get 10 minutes in.

    Yes, that's about what I started in January. Exactly--JUST get started! What I do differently though is try to get my first session of the day to last 15 minutes. Thoughout the day I'll do anywhere from 5 minutes to 20 minutes for each additional session until the total minutes are 40 minutes. (In January total goal was 30 min. and by fall, I'd like total minutes to become one hour.) It's working for me so far. More energy and losing weight. Thanks, sumthingspecial!
