When I need a boost, I take some time to read the message boards and offer encouragement and support to others. It's impossible to lift someone up and stay in the dumps. When I post positive thoughts for someone else, I'm reading them, too. It's a win-win.

I received a membership to the historical society because I volunteer there. Plus there's the volunteer recognition lunches, etc. each year.
