We often have days when we don't feel like working out, but usually once we get going we get in a groove and are in for the long haul. However, if your body is sending a stronger-than-usual signal that it's just not up for a workout today, it's ok to listen once in a while and take a break for a day. Sometimes we need a day of rest so that we're at our best when tomorrow comes.

    oooo, I could of used this yesterday! I was getting ready for zumba class last night and I really, really, didn't want to go. What I ate for dinner was not agreeing with me and I was so tired, I could barely keep my eyes open. I think I mentioned to each family member that I really didn't feel like going. No one said, aw mom, take the night off. No one said anything. They probably weren't listening as usual! ha ha. So, the trooper that I am, I got up and drove to the gym. It was a good class and I was glad I went. But there are times, like last night, when I do need a break. I know I need to take a day off occasionally. Thanks for giving me permission!
