Being recently married it's important for us to eat together. Unfortunately my husband can eat whatever he wants and however much without gaining weight....or at least it seems that way. He also doesn't like to eat many veggies. We preplan our suppers together but just the meat. So we pick chicken breast, turkey burgers, venison, etc. and we just each have a different side. Mine is usually a vegetable while his is noodles, rice, French fries, etc. We can still eat together and I can be healthy!

This has probably been mentioned before, but it's worth repeating. To save time, grill at least 2 meals worth of meat. I sometimes do 3 meals at a time. Now you have 2-3 healthy meats for your week's meals.
I use each weekend to cook a variety of healthy meat entrées (and/or casseroles) all at one time and then put them in portion-sized baggies in the freezer. Then it is easy to pop the entrée in the microwave and add a vegetable and salad for a healthy dinner. For the busy person, it reduces the stress of "What's for dinner tonight?" It is far more efficient to cook several entrées at once while the oven is hot and also allows my wife and I to choose different entrées if we wish.
with this being the start of summer, remember that grilling is a healthy way to cook!! fat drips out, if you dont coat things in butter you will have healthy meat! and take advantage of vinaigrette salads (stay away from creamy dressings) and fruit salads instead of heavy desserts. yay!
