I could not believe how many of the[ healthy ] items i bought to begin my life style change had sugar in them . find items with low to no sugar and drink lots of h2o.i gave up all sodas a year ago and feel better just from that change.40
You've all heard that it is easier to resist junk food if you don't have it at home. But let's take this one step further : Don't even let yourself go down the junk food and sweets isles at the store. Don't look at it, don't linger by it, browsing over the section, don't pick it up and contemplate walking out of the store with it even if it is "just for the hubby or kids", don't even try to justify it by reading the ingredients list or nutrional list to see "if it's really THAT bad!"
Even better, always make a meal plan for a week or just a few days, and then make a grocery list based on just the items you need for those healthy meals. Then go to the store, get JUST the items on the list, and get in, get out.
