I often lose track of how many cups of water I've had - was that my 5th or 6th? I put elastics on my LEFT wrist - 8 of them - Every time I have a cup of water I take an elastic off so I have so many LEFT on my wrist. It's an easy visual reminder.

Knowing how important water is to weight loss, I have tried a few methods to insure I get at least my 64 oz a day. And actually those of us who live in hotter climates (it gets to 120* here in the summer) should be drinking even more.
At work I either 1) Keep a post it on my water bottle with the latest time I took a swig. I try to do every 30 minutes, not a guzzle just a swig. 2) Take a swig every time I notice my body heat go up (when I get upset, stressed or a cute guy walks by :)194
*** Keeping track of your water also helps the day go by waaaayy faster :)
Drinking eight 8-oz glasses of water, really helped to jumpstart my weightloss. Not only was i less hungry, because i was so full of water, but i was motivated by dropping the water weight first. I actually drink four 16-oz glasses, i drink one with each meal and then one sometime throughout the day.
I also have a refillable water bottle that i take to work, so that helps keep me on track.
