Immersion Blender

I recently purchased a Cuisinart Smart Stick Hand Blender.
This is an immersion blender that was only $40.00. I used to make soups and stews and have to blend half of the mixture in my Vita-Mix which I also love. But now, I can just use this handy blender right in the pan to blend. So much easier! It also came with an attachment that chops, veggies, fruits, and nuts very well. What a deal!

  • I have the Cuisinart and it doesn't scratch cookware. There is a protective cage around the blade.

I got mine for $19 but it didn't come with any other attachments. Just the blender. - by HAWKTHREE
  • I love mine, too. What you made click in my mind was that I should be using mine for. My lentil soup! I always transfer them into the mini processor. emoticon From now on - emersion stick blender! Thanks! - by DUSTYPRAIRIE
  • Do you find the blender scratches your cookware? I just spent a fortune on stainless steel pots and I was curious if you've noticed any scratches from the blender?
    Thanks - by CAPRICORNCOOK
  • I too use an immersion blender and I LOVE it. It works like a champ to blend and smooth ingredients. I use it to make smoothies, soups, and salsas. I have used the little chopper container a time or two, it works, but I would not recommend buying it for that purpose. But for blending, it is so easy to use and to clean, and most importantly, it works! - by BEEGODDESS64
