Better Batter makes the best gluten free pie crusts. I made a coconut cream pie recently and my husband was surprised I didn't make it gluten free. I told him it was. I have been making crust for 10 years and this was by far the best. A winner!
I absolutely love the ease of using cool whip free! I use it for my key lime pie recipe...just 1/2 cup of key lime juice whipped up with a can of sweetened condensed milk...folded with a container of cool whip makes the filling for my key lime pie...I pour it into a home made graham cracker pie crust and it is delicious! I also use it for a marshmallow pineapple pudding for holidays, so much easier than whipping the cream, I just add sugar and vanilla, just wonderful...I highly recommend it!244
Pumpkin is low in fat, 1/2 half cup of pumkin pie filling has 11 grams of fiber. While the filling of a pumpkin pie is highly nutritious with good vitamins, the crust has 188 grams of fat. Have your piece just eat the filling and not the crust.
