I always have trouble with water I just dont like plain water its boring to me. So I treat myself like a child when it comes to water I put a drop of food coloring in it just to add alittle color and make myself think its flavored water :) it may sound silly but it works for me!! Or when Im taking my medicine in the morning I have a rule of drinking a cup of water with it instead of just a sip.
Through alternative medicine such as acupuncture I have learned that some foods that may be healthy for some people are not healthy for others. For example, currently I should not eat any cold or raw vegetables or salads since I have a spleen/chi deficiency which produces way too much phlegm in my body. I have gone from being on 14 different prescription medicines at one time to only one for my thyroid. I have found that the prescriptions that I was on were actually causing my health problems.
I have lost 15 pounds just by getting off of the medications some of which were causing me to gain weight.
