Eating Fish For Health And Weight Loss

I don't like fish due to my early childhood, but am learning it's necessary for my health and weight loss. I don't know how to pick quality fish, properly prepare it, cook it, and then know it's done, plus it stinks the house so badly. SO, whenever I eat out, I order fish - just not fried. The restaurant chef has been trained in food preparation and the odor stays there. I just eat and reap the results.

MORE INFORMATION:
My family owns a vacation home on a recreation lake. We spent our summers there since I was a child. My father would throw out 4 fishing lines before leaving for work in the morning. EVERY NIGHT we ate cat fish. I swore if I lived through childhood, I'd never eat fish again. Now I'm learning to!

If you want quality fish www.islandseafoods.com has top quality. I used to hate fish but now I only hate certain types of fish. My favorites in order are 1) King Salmon 2) Halibut 3) Sockeye Salmon 4) Ling Cod. If you put Italian dressing (liquid or powder form) on the fish before you bake it or put in on the BBQ it brings out an awesome flavor. Fish on the BBQ grill can not be beat. They sell those little cages you can stick your fish into with them long handles if you need it easy to turn on your grill. Just dont overcook it.

Ladies, it's so easy to have fish at home. Buy frozen Salmon Strips at Costco. They are individually portioned, in a large bag. Just defrost one and bake in your toaster oven for 25 minutes. No fuss , No smell, and super healthy & delicious!. emoticon

I always tell myself that I'll do this exact thing, but then I chicken out when I get to the restaurant because I'm afraid to spend so much more on an entree that I may not like. So, my question is, do you regret your fish pick very often? I absolutely agree that this is a smart way to go :)
