I used the alarm function on my phone to remind me a few times per day (specific to each day of the week) to track my food & exercise. After a while I only remind myself with my wake up alarm. When I get off track, I go back on the reminders. It's like a nagging mother!

Motivation is not something you have or don't nor does it run out. Motivation is the result of daily effort to do the things that help you stay focused, relaxed and positive. So keep a folder of motivational articles/blogs/success stories where you can read them again and again, create visual reminders of your goals, track food, exercise, blog, make some me-time, find a hobby, set up a support network, do anything and everything it takes every single day. Chose to be motivated, do your part!
Use a spreadsheet to track your budget and spending!
If you create a spreadsheet on your computer, you can track your spending from month to month and create charts that could help you better see how your spending habits change over time. This is also a great way to keep track of balances on credit cards if you are working on clearing up credit debt!
I set my phone background as a picture of myself in a bikini at my happiest and healthiest weight. I look at my phone screen countless times a day and it is a constant reminder when I am thinking about eating something unhealthy or calling a friend to meet for lunch that I need to make good choices with my eating habits. Having that visual reminder constantly in my face helps me!
