Use Iodized Salt

Of course, you shouldn't over-do salt, but when you use salt, make sure it's IODIZED. Iodine is necessary for your thyroid to make it's main hormone, thyroxine. Without enough iodine in your diet, you can develop hypothyroidism.

Sea Salt doesn't have iodine added (and costs more).

That's a terrible idea. Our processed iodized salt is TERRIBLE for you.
It makes much more sense to take an iodine supplement.
I take IODORAL and its worked wonders for my thyroid and weight loss.
