When I have a bad day and go over my calorie limit I immediately figure it into my weekly goals and seek to make the weekly count come out right instead of fretting and regretting over today. In that way I am winning the war even if I lose an occasional battle.

I think of my weight loss journey as a war. It's me against the unhealthy fat. Sometimes I win a battle and sometimes I lose, but that doesn't mean the war is over. If I mess up and eat unhealthy, then all I need to do is regroup and challenge myself to another battle. The FatWar isn't over and it won't be until I win!
Never Give Up! If you fall down 7 times, get back up 8. Never be defeated by your own self-doubts or the doubts others have about your goals. Stay focused on the endgame and play each day as the battle it is in winning the war. You may not win all the battles, but you need to keep fighting. And goal will be reached!!306
No equipment needed but a positive attitude. Throw out criticism and never view the glass as half empty. See the good in every situation - because it's there. And learn from your mistakes to plan for correction in the next battle.
Sometimes I find myself getting caught up in failures that occur during my journey. One bad day or weekend should not destroy months or even years of hard work. I think it is important to remember that in every war you will win some battles and lose some battles. It is the outcome at the end that matters.
