To avoid sneaking bites of the meals or dough of the foods that I make (which add up quickly and are hard to track), I chew mint gum while I am working.
It keeps my mouth busy, I don't want to ruin my gum and the mint kills other tastes as well as making my mouth taste nice and clean. All of these things keep me from constantly sneaking bites.

If you're like me then ice cream is one of your biggest weaknesses. After a meal I crave something cold and sweet. I've found that frozen yogurt is a good alternative.... as in, take your Dannon and stick it in the freezer. It comes out rock hard but after about 30 seconds in the microwave it breaks up enough to get a spoon through it. Even better is GoGurt, if you have it, it's like eating a creamy otter pop. You can also make your own popcycles, all you need is a mold and some sticks!
Gotta love a completely guilt free dessert!
The apocalypse does not arrive simutlaneously with the eating of a double with cheese at Wendy's. Plan for whatever your "special" item is, don't exceed your plan, and enjoy the doggone thing. Works well as a reward for reaching goals, again, if not taken to excess.
If this issue is planned: 1) no guilt, 2) development of nutrition management in the real world.
Bright blue yoga mat is lying on my bedroom floor and no matter what happens I don't pick it up. It reminds me to keep my room clean and whether I have worked out or not that day. Also its really comfy so currently I am sitting on it while browsing the internet after my workout.
Make your yoga mat a piece of furniture (multifunctional as a seat and a regular guilt trip!)
