I track before I eat (forecast). Even if I'm sitting in front of a plate of food, I have to track it before it touches my mouth. Then every once in a while if I don't eat all that I track, I get to back calories out...which is always nice.

    I do this too! Sometimes I end up needing more calories so I know instantly that I can eat an extra helping of something or have more milk with my dinner.
