Leave that calorie- hog Mayo off your sandwiches and try healthier and more flavorful alternatives.
I like using a little hummus or guacamole on veggie sandwiches...they have some fat, but are okay in moderation and have lots more flavor than Mayo. On meat sandwiches find a good mustard you like. Or instead of adding Cheese AND Mayo to your sandwich, how about a spreadable cheese and no mayo?
Adding an onion and garlic puree to lean beef or turkey when making burger patties makes for juicy and flavorful burgers! Simply take the onions, garlic, and other seasonings if desired, that you would normally chop and add to the ground meat and puree in blender or food processor. Mix completely and grill or prepare as desired!
