If you get a cake or muffin which is bigger than one portion - don't slice it in half from top to bottom - roll it over and slice it from side to side and eat the bottom portion as the top has all the added sweet toppings for decoration.

ok...although..I don't think i've kept it a secret...I cook a lot of spicy foods to rev up my metabolism and I eat a grapefruit every night and eat a lot of avacados...I am convinced that doing this is helping me lose weight....
I also eat an english muffin with peanut butter and bananas on top most every day....
The basic breakfast of eggs, bacon, and cheese can be presented so that it appears to be quite different meals. Chop up your veggies and bacon and heat in skillet, pour over the scrambled eggs, put lid on top, put on low for 20 mins is a fritata. Add cheese at the end of cooking. Or line a muffin tin with cooked strip of bacon, add the scrambled eggs, bake for 20 mins at 400 -- now you have a breakfast muffin. Top with cheese. Or keep it simple and just scramble the eggs and bacon
To keep Pineapple fresh cut off the top and if you like cut one piece off it. After that put it back in the refrigerator with the top down on a plate to let the juices go down to the top to keep it moist. It also helps keep it fresher longer up to 3 weeks. Cut when necessary.
