Every night before I go to bed I write down 5 things I am grateful for. It can be something simple like a beautiful sunny day or hearing a child's laughter. I also write more serious things like thanking God for His Son Jesus Christ who died for my sins. I have found that by doing this each night it changes my perspective, especially if I have had a bad day.

Every day I make it a point to acknowledge my gratitude for the blessings I have in my life. I am very grateful to have the things that I have in my life. I am grateful for my internet connection, my membership to Weight Watchers, my membership of Sparks, my gym membership, a roof over my head, food in the fridge, a car to drive and on and on. Keeping a gratitude journal daily has been proven to reduce stress and to stay positive.
Having a hard time staying on the positive side of life? Try keeping a Blessings journal, writing down all the things/people you have been blessed with. Also start a Gratitude Journal, writing down EVERY little thing you are grateful for, hairbrushes to water & see how your life lights up :)
By reminding ourselves of the things and people we have been blessed with, however small or insignificant it may seem, reading it will remind you of how blessed you are. Writing out the grateful items will bring you to a place of thankfulness that you have come as far as you have & keep you going!
