For The Week: Sunday Snack Prep

Prep my snacks in portion sizes for the week. Freeze the first two as 'back up' snacks for when you are busy, craving, or starved.

1. Freeze portioned snack bags of dried fruit and nuts.

2. Portion frozen edamame and season with Mrs. Dash, garlic powder, freeze.

3. Bag up portions of fresh fruit/veg.

4. Roll up pieces cheese and sandwich meat with mustard and bag.

5. Portion out cottage cheese in plastic containers.

6. Boil eggs.

  • I have found measuring sets at the dollar store and after keeping one set intact for baking, I break them up all over the kitchen as well. Really makes it easy to dish items out, always has a serving item, and actually saves on dishes in my kitchen. - by RN42MORROW
