I love sweets of all kinds and crave them often, so instead I eat sweet fruit. Cherries, berries, watermelon and banana are good. I know some people do not eat much fruit when they are cutting back but a banana or a small bowl of cherries is better than four cookies or a piece of cake.

I always crave something sweet after a meal and usually in the afternoon, but instead of eating a cookie or bowl of ice cream reach for the fruit! Keep your favorite fruit around the house and be sure to cut it (if necessary) as soon as you can so when your sweet-tooth hits have some sweet-fruit!
