Cheap and rich in potassium, iron and B1. One cup has 16 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber and only 230 calories.
Easy.... take 1 cup of lentils, 2 cups of water, 1 bay leaf, 1 clove of garlic. Simmer 8-10 minutes remove the bay leaf and garlic and drizzle some olive oil and ground pepper and enjoy.
