I park as far away from my destination as possible like the back of the parking lot at the mall. I try do stretches or squats while waiting for water to boil for my tea (I drink four cups a day - so that's about 8 minutes)

Anytime I am about to eat something that is high-cal (e.g. dessert) I think about how much satisfaction I will get from that first bite. The satisfaction with the second bite is a little bit lower than the first. And so on. So I choose however many bites I think I can balance between enjoying myself and not overeating, always remembering that no bite will ever taste as good as the first!
Sticker charts are not just for little kids and chores. Choose something you want to do every single day, buy a package of stars or smiley faces, and put a chart where you can't miss it. (Mine is on the bathroom mirror.)
