We are all human but I want to live longer & healthier. I've lost weight before so, I know I can do it again...it's just taking me longer to reassess and readjust to current needs--and attitudes. I have to give my daily (many times a day) pep talk to my brain.

When my mind gets overwhelmed or fixated on a food craving or temptation; I just tell myself that if I am still thinking about that specific item in 2 days, and really want it bad, I can have it. I am usually over it by then or have completely forgotten about it!
I try to making sure i plan out what ill eat for the day and when i plan on eating. If i ever feel the need to eat in between meals i evaluate how hungry i am by thinking "Would I eat a vegetable right now?" and if yes then go for the vegetable. I also make sure on my "cheat" days i count in the calories from that meal
