I like to walk with somebody. It adds another dimension to that workout. For instance, this past weekend, my grandchildren joined me on a walk to the store and home, about 1.5 miles round trip. It was fun!

We are stronger in a group. I know I walk furter than I think I can when I go with someone else. I won't call uncle at the first twinge when I am not alone. Its better for me and my lazy dog when we walk and play with others where others can see us and we can see them - we don't dawdle as often.
This is day six of abstinence for me . I am not going to keep track of the days forever .. I have heard that it takes 6 weeks to create a new habit so that is 42 days I am going to do it for 84 day so I am sure that recording food and daily exercise is really a habit
If I had tried and lost nothing with so many others, It took a wake up of getting out of breath on a short walk. It scared me, I tried to walk, I had to crawl first , but since then I have worked to marathons, and average 2 mile walks daily. Waking took off 86 lbs and keeps me healthy know know walking can take the weight off and keep it off too. Try walking (inside or out)9
