I had an illness many years ago which left me basically with incredible muscle fatigue. I gained a lot of weight (lost, gained, lost, gained). Over the past few years I have been able to get myself on track by FINDING MY FOCUS. What do I really want? I want to be healthier, stronger, feel better. I think the last one *to feel better* was the key. The more I focus on THAT thought, the more motivated I seem to become. It isn't easy when you have 'pounds' to lose in the seemingly uphill battle.
When you look at even taking baby steps you are taking 'that many steps FORWARD' (not backward). Baby steps can lead to bigger steps. You know once you get going it's NOT as bad (it's all in our heads!) I'm doing yoga now, something I NEVER thought I would be able to do. ITS AWESOME
