When I spend time on the computer - reading my email, doing my online banking, or checking in with SparkPeople - I always sit on my stability ball rather than use a desk chair. As I'm working, I'm usually bouncing a little or shifting from side to side or front to back, all the time working my core. This is an excellent way to sneak in exercise and make online time more productive. And....I feel a little less guilty about spending time on the computer!

I like to use a kettle bell instead of dumbbells because they make me have to try a little harder to balance. Their unique shape makes them easier to swing and do more exercises than the dumbbell.323322
