When I get really stressed, I make and drink a hot cup of tea. The best part is that I add honey and lemon juice if I want! I associate green tea with relaxation now because I am an emotional eater. Now, instead of bingeing when I get stressed I can indulge in one of my favorite drinks! With WAY less calories!

Drinking green tea helps speed up your metabolism, which in turn helps you burn more calories. For an added bonus drink green tea 20 minutes before exercise to encourage more calorie burning. I donít actually like the taste of green tea, but am drinking green tea with peppermint or lemon so as to hide the taste. Green tea is also buzzing with anti-oxidants and so also helps improve your complexion, as well as other heath benefits.
Research has shown that people who drink green tea lose more weight than people who are just dieting without drinking green tea. Remember green tea counts as 1/2 the quantity of water intake. It has many health benefits and you'll feel great!
